Freelance journalists, researchers and engineers // 1aim
The Good Technology Collective (GTC) is a European thought institute aiming to generate awareness of pressing issues at the intersection of technology, society and design in the 21st century. As a priority, we believe in the need for enhanced accountability among technology-industry stakeholders, as algorithmic consumer products play a more central role in our lives. The GTC Advisory Council consists of twenty global decision-makers from the world of technology, art and venture capital, who meet once per year to discuss and issue industry recommendations.
Are you concerned by the latest trends in data privacy and surveillance, algorithm-driven consumer products, news filtering on social media, or similar issues?
The Good Technology Collective is seeking technology journalists, researchers and engineers interested in contributing to our platform, which will launch in late August.
Selected contributors will provide research and analysis of technology-related issues, opinion pieces on technology/society and interviews with industry pundits.
Contributors will write on a telecommuting basis.
Contributors should have significant professional experience and must be skilled in English grammar and usage and AP style. They must also be capable of using accessible language and organizing information to adeptly communicate a story.
How To Apply:
Applicants should e-mail a cover letter, up-to-date resume and up to 10 examples of their best analysis, reporting or writing to Good Technology Collective Founding Member and Spokesperson Cy Leclercq at firstname.lastname@example.org.
