Senior Game Artist // GameDuell

We are looking for a motivated Senior Game Artist to join our team of highly talented and passionate artists, to work on our exciting upcoming new games. You will work closely with the art team, game designers, producers and development teams. GameDuell has over 125 million users worldwide, a large international audience to reach and influence through your work. Your tasks

  • Create high quality illustrations and polished assets for new and existing mobile and social games
  • Drive the development of the visual style and design of our new games
  • Ensure the consistency and quality of our existing style across all areas of the game
  • Coordinate the production of art assets through 3rd party vendors, from initial concepts to polished ready-to-implement assets
  • Review, feedback, and approve delivered assets
  • Work in close collaboration with other artists, game designers, developers and the product owner

What we expect

  • Highly creative person with motivation and passion for card and board games
  • Completed studies in design, art, digital media or similar
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a game artist
  • Capable of adapting and matching existing art styles
  • Proven experience working with game production processes
  • Previous experience working in the games industry, ideally creating mobile games
  • Very good knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A proven track record of creating appealing characters, backgrounds and game assets
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Very good written and oral English skills
  • A plus:
    – Experience in working in an agile environment
    – Experience in creating mobile card and board games
    – Knowledge of Animate CC (Flash) or After Effects
