Senior UX Researcher // GetYourGuide

Be one of the first members of our team of researchers who work directly with product design and management to make GetYourGuide the No.1 platform for tours & activities by improving the experience of millions of users. As a Senior UX Researcher at GetYourGuide, you will have an opportunity to shape the product from a strategic point of view and help define the future product roadmap and strategy.


  • Work closely with product teams to identify research topics
  • Generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate designs, as well as inform product strategy
  • Design and conduct user research to evaluate new and existing features/products
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, content strategists, analysts and engineers
  • Coach, support and critique your colleagues. Train and empower designers and PMs to do solid research themselves
  • Synthesize and communicate research findings to inform business and product decisions
  • Mentor other researchers, and maintain our team’s high standard of work
  • Create compelling and novel narratives about the people who use our products
  • Provide great answers to great questions. Challenge the team in finding solutions for the right problems. Follow up to make sure insights are acted on. Spread insights out beyond the core stakeholders to fuel innovation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in applied product research
  • Experience working with product teams and/or designers to drive insights into product solutions
  • Knowledge of mixed methods, with an emphasis on both qualitative and quantitative research
  • Knowledge of quantitative, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts
  • Ability to work independently and adapt research practices to meet the needs of a start-up environment
  • You communicate fluently in English and ideally at least one other European language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workshop facilitation experience
  • Experience partnering with data analysts/data scientists on research projects
  • Experience in a digital products company, ideally e-commerce or travel
  • B.A/B.S. in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Experimental Psychology, or a related field
  • MA/MS in HCI, Psychology, Social Science or a related field
