UI / UX Designer // KAYAK

Are you the talented UI/UX designer to help take our industry-leading website to the next level?


KAYAK is looking for a UI/UX designer who can help us redefine the online travel experience. This full-time position will be based in our beautiful Berlin Technology Centre. From here you’ll work together with our design and engineering teams in the US, with the added opportunity to travel.


  • 3 years experience in design (web, e-commerce)
  • Exceptional design and typography aesthetic
  • Considerable knowledge of Sketch and he Adobe Creative suite
  • Prototyping (Invision, Origami, Principles, Marvel) experience is a plus
  • Strong eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Creative and independent thinker, but must be able to work within a group
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and deliver multiple projects on time
  • Experience working with usage flows and user interactions
  • Ability to work within established brand design guidelines
  • Strong eye for detail and exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • CSS/Dynamic HTML/coding experience a plus
  • Experience using layout grids
  • Passionate about travel
  • A relevant portfolio is required for consideration (real, live projects are a plus)


  • Collaborate with Senior team to help grow and maintain KAYAK brand
  • Participate in brainstorming and other idea-generating team sessions
  • Work closely with engineers to prototype and build features
