GetYourGuide Berlin is currently searching for an experienced IT Support Technician.

You are responsible for the administration and maintenance of the company’s technical infrastructure including but not limited to networks, telephones and desktops. With a strong customer focus, you ensure that hardware, operating systems, and software applications, adhere to organizational policies and procedures, and that these elements perform consistently at a high level of quality.

Your Responsibilities…

  • Provision of effective support for all users within the company: Ensure that all support requests are consistently logged, allowing for analysis of type and root cause of issue
  • Ensure that all tickets are resolved in a timely fashion with excellent communication and expectation management provided to the user at all points in the resolution process
  • Proactive maintenance / administration / troubleshooting / defect remediation of the enterprise telephony systems and LAN/WAN environments
  • Proactive preventative maintenance of the infrastructure to minimise faults and downtime
  • Empower end users to self-support wherever possible
  • On-going documentation of all infrastructure, services and processes
  • Support the technical side of office and facility management


  • Highly technical and tenacious personality who engages in challenges and develops short- and long- term solutions
  • Passionate about being hands-on, and staying abreast of the latest trends in information technology including information security
  • Experience with a growing business with a variety of systems and an innovative working atmosphere is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise and relate to a variety of non-technical users
  • Experience of supporting VoIP systems a necessity
  • Passion for problem solving and resilience in working to deadlines
  • Strong personal commitment to quality and customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English) and ability to interface and influence at all levels within and outside of the organization
