You are managing the opensource based network infrastructure for our high performing worldwide cloudhosting.

Evaluation and negotiation of peering options is as well included as managing network security and traffic engineering.

Requirements:

You have gained a substantial level of experience in the following topics over the last few years:

  • all areas of the lower 4 OSI layers
  • *WDM, BGP/OSPF/MPLS/ISIS and load balancing
  • planning and setup of new infrastructures
  • at least 5 years‘ experience with equipment from Juniper or Cisco.
  • You find the idea of reliably distributing data throughput in the three-figure GBit range in the Internet exciting.
  • You are warmly greeted by name at national and international network meetings.
  • New technologies make your eyes light up and you look forward to taking steps into unfamiliar territory
  • Your knowledge of German and English is good, and you can converse in both languages with your colleagues and with customers.
