Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f) // Fyber

Our platform deals with huge amounts of data and billions of requests. Each engineering team works with a clear mission in mind, taking accountability for every part of the system, from deployment to production 3rd tier engineering debugging. Our teams are multi-disciplinary and consist of Developers, QA Engineers and Product Managers. As QA Engineer you would join our Data Engineering team, and contribute to keep our quality standards high.

Your Role:

  • Develop test plans and maintainable automated tests in tandem with the rest of our engineering team
  • Analyze and clarify functional and nonfunctional requirements in collaboration with engineering team
  • Develop performance tests, analyze results and suggest improvements to increase the performance of our platform
  • Execute manual and automated test plans
  • Proactively suggest improvements to our data platform to make it more testable as well as the QA process

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience in the QA field
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing or testing high-performance, large scale distributed, web or data intensive systems
  • Experience with at least one of the following technologies: TestNG, ScalaTest or jUnit
  • Experience with Gatling or jMeter
  • Database experience with SQL databases (MySQL, Impala, Hive)
  • Good coding skills in Java or Scala
  • Able to work effectively in a team or on own initiative
  • Experience in AdTech industry is a plus
  • Excellent written and spoken English
