Successful candidates understand the growing data processing requirements of the market and how our product is used by our customers around the globe and the open-source community.


  • Providing technical support to our customers around the globe by analyzing issues escalated down from 1st level support or from our public support and community channels, where your coding abilities, communication skills, desire to solve complex problems, passion for big data will help you to succeed
  • Manage the relationship with 1st level support by maintaining re-usable support materials, monitoring performance of our support organization and support process development of our customer support
  • Work closely with our 1st level support partner and our DevOps/SysAdmin team, Pre-Sales and Field Engineers, our Implementation Partners in the EMEA region and our engineering teams in Berlin and Dornbirn


  • Customer facing experience in support, consulting or related function
  • Demonstrated expertise with current database technologies and related technologies (Python, Ruby, Java, Objective C, JavaScript, C++, etc.)
  • Experience using databases on Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to do evening calls with US on occasion
  • Fluent knowledge of German and English
  • A plus: Experience using a container platform like Docker or Kubernetes
  • A plus: Familiarity with other up-to-date technologies and trends
  • Valid work permit for Germany
