we are Florian, Lukas, Philip, and David from the product department. Together with our crossfunctional teams we are responsible for developing the services behind our multimodal platform and building mobility apps for cities. Currently we are looking for a project/test manager to coordinate our extensive testing efforts.

Currently, 280 employees work in small creative teams in Germany and the US at four locations – Hamburg, Berlin, Stuttgart and Portland.

HOW THE ROLE WORKS

While we have dedicated quality engineers, embedded in development teams you will be working with QA, the product team, software engineers as well as with external parties. In building mobility solutions for our B2B clients, we aim at providing the best experience to local users. Making use of local knowledge is a key factor for success. Can users find the most important POI in the app built for their city? Do trips from our router make sense to people who are familiar with the city’s layout? Those are the kinds of questions we are trying to answer in the product team. As the Project Manager for Crowdsourced Testing you will be responsible for delivering worldclass products to transit agencies and users throughout the world. The ideal candidate believes product development is a team activity and enjoys it being that way. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and are willing to fill any role to help their team be successful. The project Manager is a member of the product team and responsible for coordinating the (external) acceptance testing of our products.

SOME OF THE THINGS YOU WILL DO

  • Collaborate daily with our product and tech teams to ensure that user-centric quality standards are met
  • Support a coordinated release planning and execution process for multiple products
  • Set standards that ensure reliable and systematic releases of high quality software
  • Oversee and forecast third-party resource needs for testing
  • Define requirements and criteria that need to be met in the testing process
  • Process testing results in a way that is valuable input for product and tech
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of third-party testers
  • Create, update and share release process documentation

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in computer science, business administration, product design, social science or similar qualifications and a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in working in a tech driven environment
  • Project management skills
  • Experience in user testing and software quality assurance are beneficial
  • Knowledge of management systems such as Jira, Confluence
  • Proven track record in user acceptance testing is a plus
  • Experiences with design thinking and crowdtesting suppliers are a plus (e.g. Applause, Testbird)
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Curious and willing to learn
