Makeapoint is an early stage startup in Berlin that is redesigning the way people discuss online with a highly innovative and impactful product.
We have just finished the conceptual phase with a great prototype and strong focus on sleek UX. We are lined up with ready to be sent out funding applications, that are just missing one thing: You! We are currently searching for a Web Developer/Co-Founder to complete our team of four and join us in taking this operation of the ground.
What we are looking for in a web developer
- You know JavaScript inside out, as well as prevalent libraries such as jQuery and jQueryMobile.
- You are an expert on HTML5/ CSS3 with a focus on Canvas, web video and responsive design.
- Ideally, you have some working knowledge of Websocket and WebRTC,
- You have an academic background from a german public university or technical college with graduation not longer than 5 years ago.
- You pride yourself in excellent analytical thinking and creative problem solving.
- You have a strong appreciation for beauty – in code and in design.
- You have impressive coding ability, and the will to put that to hard work.
- You are determined to take ownership over parts of the development process and embrace the responsibility that comes with it.
What we are looking for in a co-founder
- You are driven by making a superb product and able to execute on a vision.
- You are an absolute team player! You understand the professional benefit of ego-free collaboration but also appreciate good teamwork for its social value.
- You are able to work quickly and independently and to adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- You are willing to push limits and won’t rest until the best solution is found and ideas reach their full potential.
