Job Offer:

BigchainDB GmbH is currently seeking a full-time Intern Administrative Assistant for the period of 6 months to manage the office, and help the rest of the administration and marketing team with day-to-day tasks. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, manage administrative support and handle staff queries, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is a good problem solver, organized and can work independently.

The full range of moderate to complex clerical and secretarial assignments would include following areas:


  • all administrative aspects of the HR work (employee data management and organization of interview days)
  • onboarding of new team members
  • help manage the recruitment cycle and source qualified, talented, and high potential candidates


  • managing expenses and supporting our financial team
  • general bookkeeping
  • assisting with monthly credit card and bank statement reconsolidation

Office Management:

  • smoothly run the office: maintain inventory and supply levels (food, drinks, office supplies and equipment)
  • travel bookings and travel plan management
  • support our Management team with ad-hoc tasks
  • maintain office efficiency by improving office processes


  • helping Marketing team with production
  • assisting with organizing events

If you:

  • have strong organizational and communication skills
  • stress resistant, and able to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously
  • outgoing and friendly personality that makes people feel welcome
  • very meticulous, tidy and detail-oriented
  • advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • at least one year of experience in a similar position
  • great communication skills, both written and verbally in English and German (at least C1 level)
