CRM Associate // Beatport

The Beatport Store offers music in premium digital formats and provides unique music discovery tools created for and by DJs. Each week, Beatport’s music collection is refreshed with hundreds of exclusive tracks by the world’s top electronic music artists. Beatport has office in Denver, Los Angeles and Berlin.


Beatport is looking for a Marketing CRM Associate to join our team in Berlin. We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience executing and analyzing successful email and paid marketing campaigns. Email Marketing is not an afterthought or something we do to check the box, it is a major part of how we market to, and communicate with, the users of the Beatport Store. If you are ready to lead and deliver these critical marketing initiatives we would like to speak with you.

This is a full time role based in Berlin, Germany.



Building and coordinating marketing campaigns:

briefing design and content team,
building HTML emails,
creating email campaign on Exact Target system
sending emails
Measuring and optimising weekly email campaigns;

Design and program templates
develop CTA and create content that will engage the DJ community

Paid Advertising

Running our online paid campaigns, both on Google and Facebook
Measuring and optimising our online paid marketing campaigns
Research and test campaigns to expand our reach and/or lower our cost-per-acquisition
Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead of the game in a constantly changing environment

Requirements you would need for this job:

BA/BS or equivalent working experience
At least 1 year experience with:
Email marketing / paid advertising, and Google analytics
ExactTarget / SalesForce Marketing Cloud
HTML, CSS & SQL skills
Demonstrated understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics analysis (through A/B testing and email optimization).
In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search (Google AdWords), retargeting & social network advertising.
Good organisational mindset (being able to run several projects at the same time)
Details oriented
Excellent written English
Proactive and high self-engagement
A love for electronic music is a huge plus
