As Executive Assistant to the Berlin Site leadership, you will play a key role in our Berlin site. You will be responsible for anticipating, prioritising and organising all activities with regard to the leadership calendar and bring order to the chaos that can sometimes characterise an executive’s work schedule.

This will require other forms of support in addition to calendaring, such as scheduling events, coordinating domestic and international travel. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be involved in one-off projects and initiatives – generally, you should be ready to contribute across the business and provide structure and organisation wherever possible.

Who you are

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have strong time management, process management and productivity skills as well as a passion for administration done properly. You will be an expert in calendar management and in blending business and personal needs. You understand overall Klarna priorities, and you can align schedules and meetings appropriately so time is spent on the most important areas.
You are a self-starter with a pragmatic approach – if you see something that needs fixing or support, you don’t hesitate to step in.
You consistently and proactively suggest and introduce new ways of working to improve effectiveness, you are a team player and you love to work at a high pace.

However, what sets you apart and really makes you different from others is your level of integrity, social skill and commitment to order and structure. We believe that you will have worked in a similar role before and have acquired the skills necessary to be on top of a situation even before it arises.

You should have

  • An administrative & logistic drive
  • Service skills and handle work tasks under time pressure
  • Fluency skills in verbal and written English & German
  • Natural problem solver skills and the ability to see problems with a holistic approach
  • An eager to take on new challenges and the ability to develop by setting goals, both individually and in the team
