Part-time Purchasing / Operations Assistant // Heliocentris Academia
At Heliocentris Academia we work with renewable energy, energy storage and energy management systems. Our main technologies cover hydrogen and fuel cells systems. Our team range back to 2003 and has recently been restructured into a start-up mode under new management where opportunities to learn a wide range of skills is very present.
Our Berlin based team is now looking for part time support in purchasing and sourcing, to help with parts and material fulfillment for production. The job duties will initially be to place orders with our suppliers, managing pricing, payment terms and delivery lead times.
Communication with suppliers is professionally managed over phone and email, either in German or English, clear and concise communication is essential. The role will lead into search for alternative purchasing sources as well as further negotiations on price, lead times, payment terms etc.
In your daily work tasks, you will use the Microsoft Office suite (mostly outlook and excel) as well as the company ERP, thus knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics (Navision) or WeClapp is advantageous, if you instead know SAP or Orcale ERP systems that’s not bad either. To be successful in your job duties you need to be detail oriented and communicative.
