Technical Recruiter/Sourcer (m/f) // Wayfair

Wayfair Engineering Recruiting is expanding its team and is seeking an experienced Sourcer (m/f). Our Engineering Recruiting team is critical to the growth and success of Wayfair and this is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced and talented team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sound understanding of Software and Systems Engineering hiring needs, position specifications, skill sets, and search requirements
  • Identify, source, and develop Engineering candidates through internal database searches, Boolean internet searches, contact lists, online job boards, social networking sites, and other sources as appropriate
  • Appropriately screen candidates, develop and manage relationships with real and potential candidates
  • Understand who the major employers are in the market: Target company identification /intelligence reporting – create and maintain a list of potential target companies for Engineering roles
  • Proactively conduct research and investigate new and innovative ways to identify candidates
  • Collaboration and continuous follow up with 2 –3 recruiters to ensure staffing plans and objectives are being met
  • Provide daily/weekly statistics on quality and quantity of new candidates, along with productivity of the various sourcing channels

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar education
  • In-depth direct sourcing, research, and candidate development expertise utilizing a range of methods and sources; strong preference for software engineering sourcing experience
  • Ability to conduct research and discover information through Boolean searches, search engines, social networking sites, etc. and to drive sourcing campaigns and manage multiple searches effectively
  • Experience of market mapping and an understanding of the Berlin Tech community (at the very least the German market) essential
  • Strong prospecting, networking and relationship building skills and ability to motivate candidates, sell the company brand and the career opportunities
  • Ability to establish and maintain credibility by understanding job openings and requirements across the software and systems engineering market
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team-oriented environment and to adapt to changing business priorities & environment
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills, strong communicator
