YOUR JOB

Strategy

  • Identify new growth opportunities for MIAMED and develop comprehensive growth strategy
  • Analyze international markets and target groups to judge market attractiveness
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas
  • Liaise with team leaders on aligning business activities with strategic goals and exploring expansion opportunities
  • Support the management board in strategic decision making with in-depth analysis, research and business plans
  • Take over responsibility for individual strategic growth projects
  • Locate or propose potential collaborations and business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities

Operational

  • Develop concrete go-to-market blue-print documentations for new growth projects
  • Analyze existing business / user segments and develop target group specific growth measures
  • Drive sustainable growth through boosting user acquisition and forging strong relationships with various stakeholders

Investors

  • Compile strategic material for investors, financing rounds and grant/innovation competitions

Organizational

  • Oversee day-to-day management of business development interns
  • Interviewing and hiring new members of the business development team

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven working experience in a relevant role
  • Degree in Business administration or a comparable qualification
  • At least 2 – 4 years of working experience in a top tier consulting company, a start-up or highly competitive and high growth environment
  • Market knowledge
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • A structured hands-on mentality
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • Strong team lead management and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Fluent English; German language skills are a plus
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Passion for a product that is changing the world of medical education
