We are looking for a passionate, full-time HEAD OF PRODUCT to take ownership of the product development at Phonedeck. You will be working closely together with our team of 10 developers, designers as well as the company management. The position is based at our headquarters in Berlin Mitte, Germany and available immediately

Phonedeck is the new intelligent phonebook for your smartphone. By connecting with your friends’ phones our app automatically updates everybody´s contact information in each other’s phones. The service is under constant improvement and has the ambition to become the leading and most innovative management solution for contacts on mobile phones.
Phonedeck was founded in 2010 by group of entrepreneurs – all with a strong background in the mobile space. We leave no stone unturned in our mission to create innovative user-friendly solutions that change the way we communicate with our phones and add social media mechanics to them. We are a small yet growing team of 12 amazingly passionate and talented people from all over the world.
Your tasks
- Your are a strategic thinker and develop the overall product strategy in close collaboration with the company management
- You take the lead in the product development process and organize development sprints together with our CTO
- You are a growth hacker by heart, who constantly tracks and analyses our metrics in order to improve our viral flows and grow our user base
- You analyse and understand our target groups, identify their needs and feed your findings back into the product development process („Build, Measure, Learn“ Lean Startup Approach)
- You identify new business opportunities & revenue channels for our products
- You keep a close eye on market trends and competition
- You help us constantly enhance of our internal processes and improve the overall workflows and product quality
Your profile
- 3 years + of mobile / consumer internet product management or similar experience
- Excellent teamwork as well as strong project management skills
- Holistic combination of technical, strategic & entrepreneurial expertise plus a strong passion for technology driven innovation
- Proven success in launching and maintaining a web or mobile product, ideally in closely related field such as contact management, productivity or enterprise apps
- Technical grounding and understanding of the complexity of web-based and mobile products
- Excellent English language skills (Company language is English)
