Senior Platform Product Manager // Onefootball

As a senior platform product manager, you will be responsible for our product platform and make sure we have the right building blocks to enable new customers-facing features in the product and make the organization more efficient.

Your role

  • You will be responsible for articulating and maintaining the roadmap for the different blocks composing our product platform. Among these are our score system, our CMS or Newsdesk, the tool used by our Newsroom and our bloggers network to create and curate content
  • Your roadmap must include a long-term view as you need to set expectations with many different stakeholders
  • You prioritize the work on a functionality or set of functionalities that are used by multiple consumer facing features
  • You take decisions that make our overall product better over time
  • You build for three types of customers: the end user who are using the product that you build, the product managers who are building features to hit a goal within their particular area of responsibility and who need changes to the platform and finally the developers who are building on top of your service and will present a set of requirements
  • The technology you build is scalable, reliable and maintainable

Who we’re looking for

  • You are a former engineer and can speak at eye level with our engineering teams
  • You need to understand the large strategic vision well enough to make short and long-term trade-offs across different products
  • You have excellent project management skills such as dependency management, team blockage removal and process building
  • You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills combined
  • You like to work with cross functional teams
  • You are able to negotiate with internal customers
  • You are familiar with Agile methodologies
  • You are a digital native and understand the mobile and web world
  • You have excellent English language skills
