Your Position

We are looking for driven and experienced Head of Sales to support our Berlin office and thereby build and grow our IoT (Internet of Things) business. You will promote our unique product to international markets. This is a great opportunity to grow, manage and shape your own sales team within an established business. This is a great hands-on position for a motivated sales person with managerial experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Grow revenue and hit sales targets by maintaining the current business and proactively seeking new business opportunities
  • Perfect the sales process and streamline operations, by removing obstacles and making it easy to do business with us
  • Create and implement sales plans for growing and shaping the end to end sales strategy for the business with our VP Growth
  • Build the team – Recruit new team members; Being very supportive to the sales team by leading, mentoring, motivating, and coaching them to individual success
  •  Tightly managing the sales pipeline through smart use of the CRM system to:
    o Provide accurate sales forecasts
    o Provide monthly sales reports
    o Set up and agree KPI’s with the Sales team to drive success
    o Provide action plans for identified underperforming areas
  • Set up and constantly optimize KPIs with Marketing and Customer Success to ensure continuous growth by living our shared success philosophy
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with other departments to help nurture and sustain the new business opportunities
  • Report to our VP Growth

What Experience you’ll need

  • Proven track record of achieving high revenue goals, problem-solving and cross functional collaboration
  • Proactive approach with the ability to be hands-on and managerial at the same time
  • 5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role including at least 3+ years of experience in people management
  • Relevant sales methodologies and metrics
  • Working in a start-up or a similar fast-paced environment
  • Hiring and motivating high-performing sales teams
  • Excellent communication, time management, negotiation and presentation skills
