Position Overview

We are looking for motivated DevOps engineers that can innovate rapidly in the changing landscape of social media and join our team onsite in Berlin.

This role has the following responsibilities:

• Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based development and production systems
• Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems
• Extension and maintenance of monitoring and alerting systems
• Establishing lean implementations to collect metrics and business KPIs
• Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products.
• System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms
• Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements and overseeing their implementation
• Work with Piano’s global IT team to provide local support to the Berlin-based team

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

• Experience with web-content delivery architectures
• Docker/Kubernetes
• Linux experience
• Prometheus/Grafana
• Fluent written and oral English is mandatory

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Cloud experience, ideally with AWS services
• Ansible
• ElasticSearch
• Terraform
• Relational database systems and Key-Value stores
• Working in a multinational setup and with team members in different locations
