(Senior) Developer Mobile Android (f,m,x)

{ What you’re going to do:

For you, Mobile Development is totally your thing. But it’s not just about development – it is also about cooperation with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Designers to create User Stories. They’ll rely on you when it comes to making their vision come true in time and quality by choosing the latest technology and by developing good and reliable tests. But maybe your idea is even better. So you are welcome to conduct research, to build prototypes and to participate in many other exploration activities.

{ Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Designers to create and refine user stories and acceptance criterias.
  • Participate in and contribute to planning, estimating, reviews and demos.
  • Develop and commit to team sprint objectives and iteration plans.
  • Work with the Product Owner to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality and design.
  • Conduct research, prototyping, and other exploration activities.
  • Create unit tests and automated acceptance tests.
  • Check new code into the shared source code repository.
  • Pair up to write code and automated acceptance test cases.
  • Execute acceptance tests and maintain the test cases in a shared repository.
  • Strive to continuously improve the team’s process.
  • Write clear and detailed technical specifications.
  • Proactively perform system testing.

{ What you bring to the table:

  • Ideally, you have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering. You don’t? Cool. Tell us your story.
  • You have 5 years or even more experience in native development and shipping of Android-apps.
  • You have experience in development with Kotlin/Java and shipping apps to the Play Store.
  • You have a proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git).
  • You have an idea about Material Design guidelines.
  • You have an eye for UI-design and and a user-oriented focus.
  • You are familiar with RESTful APIs to connect Android apps to back-end services.
  • You are experienced in agile development and in Scrum-workflows.
  • You know your way around in testing frameworks and automated testing.
  • Ideally, you have some experience made in corporate or corporate startup-environments as well.
  • Bonus: You already have some German or you’re open to learning and improving it.
  • You’re passionate about your work, but also know how to enjoy your free time!
