Business Development Manager // Idagio

As IDAGIO continues to grow, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to bring our growth to the next level.  You will be responsible for identifying, developing and realizing strong and long-lasting partnerships. We want IDAGIO to be available via millions of devices and many different services and platforms, such as Amazon, Apple, and Google, making us the preferred streaming service in the classical music market. Whenever classical music is being played – in your car, at a concert or at someone’s home –  IDAGIO should be on people’s minds and, of course, in people’s ears.

This role reports directly to our Director of Business Development and this is how you can contribute:

  • Support the team in building a bridge between technology and classical music
  • Enable the Business Development team to grow and achieve their strategic goals
  • Be responsible for the global growth of IDAGIO through engagement and partnerships with brands, classical and technology partners
  • Explore new relationships and initiatives that help drive growth in an efficient manner and that can be scaled across the US, Europe and Asia
  • Work closely with our audience development team and editorial team to set up new collaborations and bring leads that can benefit cross departments
  • Work closely with our product and marketing teams on the operational implementation of campaigns
  • Get initiatives in motion, addressing the business impact and product requirements
  • Building a robust pipeline and developing relationships with key stakeholders to act as their single point of contact
  • Maintain healthy and happy relationships with industry partners


  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience as a Business Development professional with a career mix of start-up and enterprise experience, with a focus on technology and music
  • Display strong cross-functional coordination skills as you will be deeply engaged with other teams and units
  • Confidence with technology and an analytical spirit; effective at managing change in a fast-moving and constantly-evolving business with a strong desire to build something great
  • Proven track record in executing complex projects; the ability to move from the strategic to the tactical and hands-on level
  • A curious mind, always up to date with the music industry, technology and culture
  • Clear understanding of the classical music industry needs and knowledge of business players is a big plus!
  • Highly self-motivated, results-driven and able to work independently
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work flexible hours and a willingness to travel
  • Excellent English language skills, German is a big plus!
