Sales Development Representative (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to help us generate, qualify and excite new leads, and be the first point of contact for all of emlen’s sales efforts. You’ll focus on our DACH market at the forefront of our outbound sales prospecting.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has strong communication skills, has a strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization and who is excited about working in a fast-paced and agile young start up.

What you’ll be doing

  • proactively seeking new business opportunities and generating qualified leads, as well as building your contact database through research & profiling
  • You will use a multichannel approach (personalised videos, calls, emails, Linkedin messages etc) to generate new sales opportunities, using established but always improving sequencing and automation best practices
  • As a true team player you will set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives to move the pipeline forward across the sales funnel with the information they need to close the deal
  • You’ll provide visibility to the wider team by documenting and reporting on your progress
  • You will have a true interest in learning everything about your prospects processes and collecting insights around their pain points, as if they were your own

Your strength

  • Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotes (B2B SaaS is a +)
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or other CRM software
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • You’re pragmatic, agile, high-energy and enjoy multi-tasking
  • You’re always looking for ways to improve the way in which the team works
  • fluent German and English required
