Sales Development, Team Lead

About the Role

As the SDR, Team Lead you will act as player and coach to the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team, whose goal is to generate demos to provide opportunities for the Account Executives. The SDR, Team Lead will work closely with sales and marketing leadership to ensure success for the Sales Development Representatives. As the team lead you will help to train, coach, and manage the growing SDR team to help support the reps as individuals, and contributors to our success. Leading by example you will overachieve against your activity metrics and assigned quota, while coaching team members through call reviews, product knowledge and sales tactics.

This role has tremendous growth opportunity with a clear path to Sales Management or Account Executive roles through consistent over performance.

Location- Berlin, Germany

What You’ll be Doing

  •  Coach and mentor team of sales development professionals
  • Participate in the recruiting and onboarding of new employees to the team
  • Develop and execute demo strategies to schedule a targeted number of demos for the SDR team
  • Develop the sales, product, and industry skills of each team member
  • Coordinate, direct, and monitor the outbound efforts of assigned reps by tracking and reporting weekly activities
  • Motivate team members through creative incentives
  • Manage promotions and marketing which is custom developed for each SDR Team
  • Actively pursue all avenues of lead generation for the SDR Team
  • Excel as a salesperson against your own quota and metrics

About You

  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred
  •  2+ Years’ experience in sales or sales development
  • Consistent track record of 100%+ of quota achievements as an individual contributor
  •  Experience coaching and mentoring as player and coach
  • Proven, consistent achievement of goals through the leadership and motivation of a team
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining talent
  • Polished communicator with the ability to influence an audience
  •  Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on many projects concurrently
