Frontend Engineer

Description

LabTwin is the first voice-powered assistant for scientists. Our purpose is to make R&D better, faster and more efficient.

We are looking for a JavaScript developer. We work closely with designers and product managers to come up with new features and help to shape the roadmap of our web app. Our current web app is built using Vue.js 2.6, Vue Router, Vuex and an extensive unit & end-to-end testing suite using Cypress and Jest. We work in a continuous deployment mode releasing several internal versions and having a final release ready at the end of a sprint with strong focus on quality assurance.

Your Responsibilities 

  • Take full responsibility for delivering and maintaining, new or existing features, by writing high-quality and properly tested code, following the best programming practices.
  • Work in an agile, cross-functional team taking ownership for the frontend web team deliverables.
  • Take a hands-on, proactive approach and can-do attitude in all tasks.
  • Work on different products, from our customer-facing responsive web app to Proof-of-Concept projects
  • Be a team player and collaborate closely with teammates across disciplines (Product, Design etc.)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of JavaScript development, with solid experience in Vue.js or React.js (preferably Vue.js as our app is entirely written in it)
  • Experience with SCSS / CSS3
  • Experience with testing frameworks, preferably Mocha/Chai & Cypress
  • Experience with integrating against REST-based APIs
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). German not required.
