Head of Engineering

We are looking for a top-tier Head of Engineering (m/f/d) to join the company and help lead us through the early stages of growth. This is a broad role where you’ll be able to shape the direction of our technology and set up our architecture from scratch.

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • You will drive our innovation and create new experiences that will delight our customers (and their customers too!).
  • You will work closely with the rest of the team to truly understand the problems that our customers are facing.
  • You will be hands-on and focused on making sure our product improves from a business and technical perspective, continuously raising the bar across the organisation.
  • You will recruit new developers and have the opportunity to build your own world-class A* team.
  • You will define our key processes to ensure we can build, launch and scale our product quickly.

Key skills and traits we’re looking for

  • You are able to demonstrate proven experience of working on high pressure, high priority work where you have learnt many valuable lessons along the way.
  • You are comfortable with not having all of the answers and you strive to get better every day.
  • You are an entrepreneurial self-starter and are excited about the idea of leading your own team.
  • You have proven knowledge and technical skills in web and mobile applications.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
