Head of Finance

As a Head of Finance at aklamio, you’ll be a key member of the Leadership Team, identifying and executing opportunities to drive revenue growth and profitability improvements. You will also work cross-functionally as an enabler of our business teams, supporting them in resource allocation, and taking ownership of their budgets.

What you’ll do

  • As head of our finance department, you will be responsible for setting up the structure on which to create a team
  • Defining KPIs and setting up the processes, you will help us grow and scale
  • Creating reports, forecasting and preparing presentations, you will be briefing our management to deal with projects and investors
  • To manage cash flow and budget allocation, you will be involved in the whole financial process from managing invoices with our accountant to bank relationships

What you’ll bring with you

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance / Accounting working and scaling a high-growth start up, preferably with a SaaS organization
  • Proven experience in building teams and organizations in dynamic / high-growth environments
  • You are very comfortable dealing with different sources of banks, institutions and investors
  • Ability to partner with management at all levels and to lead major projects and initiatives
  • Experience building and owning pieces of a finance function at an early stage company
  • Previous experience dealing with transaction tools, tax topics and different banks systems internationally
  • Previous experience in M&A and fundraising
  • Excellent analytical skills that lead to actionable growth opportunities
  • Strong process orientation with meticulous attention to detail
  • You can clearly and visually show the results of your analysis as well as finding and implementing the best tools for the job
  • Fluent in German and English
