Your role:

As a Business Development Intern/Trainee you will jump into City Launcher role within Smunch expansion. What does it exactly mean? With your sales and consulting skills you will contribute to building and growing Smunch in new operational cities.

This internship/traineeship will offer you the possibility to grow into the Manager role. We are happy to discuss further details with you personally!

Your mission:  

  • Own: As City Launcher you will be on the ground from Day 1 and have a key role in getting a new city up and running. You will work closely with each local General Manager to launch multiple cities and countries from scratch
  • Lead: You’ll onboard new hires and coach the local city team to pave the road to success
  • Influence: You’ll build the foundation for each city to succeed by supporting all on-the-ground activities and ensure all city relevant processes (e.g. Sales, Ops) are executed efficiently
  • Build: You’ll impact each City Performance by establishing top local Restaurant partnerships and building strong Client relationships together with local city team
  • Learn: Understand the needs of each new market, extend your knowledge with every city launch to shape our playbook and optimize cross-functional processes with HQ and your team

Your Profile:

  • At least 1 years work experience in sales, business development, consulting or applicable experience
  • You are known for your creative problem solving skills and not afraid of rolling up your sleeves to get things done across different job functions
  • You are hungry to hit ambitious goals and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Having fun training and motivating teams and ability to adapt to fast changing environment
  • Excited to travel multiple times while being curious about the differences between markets
  • Balanced attention to detail with swift execution
  • Excellent German and English skills  (spoken and written on at least C1 level)
