Growth & Community Manager // Ahoy! Berlin

About us:

We provide spaces that drive productivity and innovation. We empower our members professionally and personally. Ahoy! Berlin offers coworking desks, private offices, conference rooms and event spaces spread over an area of 4000 sqm. We regularly host events of different sizes, from intimate meetups to workshops and hackathons with over 150 participants. We host both public and private events, some reserved to our members and others which are open to the wider community.

We are looking for a German-speaking Growth & Community Manager to oversee our office and coworking revenue. You will be the eyes and ears of our space, building a strong in-house network while overseeing and communicating space operations to members.

What you’ll do:


  • Handle inbound requests, negotiate contracts and sign renewals
  • Invoice all members and track payments via our community management platform Office RnD
  • Meet and tour with potential office clients and partners
  • Onboard new teams and facilitate move-in periods
  • Handle in-house companies’ growth and expansion plans and find ways to accommodate their needs
  • Report monthly revenue to COO and CEO


  • Manage member satisfaction and strive to improve in-house services
  • Manage content and social media strategy across our online and social media platforms (Office RnD, Facebook, Instagram, Slack)
  • Communicate important updates and notifications to members
  • Organise and host community events
  • Maintain up-to-date member data and track new hires from teams


  • Develop business development opportunities to strengthen the Ahoy brand and business
  • Negotiate benefits and discounts on services for community members

What you’ll bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills: you are dynamic, professional and confident when representing Ahoy! Berlin to clients and partners
  • A bachelor/master degree in Communications/International Business/Business Administration/Psychology/Sociology
  • Relevant experience in Coworking, Sales, Real Estate or Marketing with passion for the future of work and sharing economy
  • A clear understanding of the coworking concept and its business model
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Good computer literacy and confidence with new tools (Excel, Google Docs, Office RnD)
  • Fluency in German and English

  • Sales pipeline and maintaining monthly revenue goals
  • Partnerships and member benefits
  • Development of new services
  • Community and introductions
  • Social media presence
