Growth Marketing Manager (Business Development)

Intro

As our Growth Marketing Manager for Business Development, you will be responsible for managing our existing partnership network as well as actively finding new partners and opportunities.
This position presents a unique chance to take ownership over an important role within a fast-growing start-up in the marketing team.

What is it we do? We’re a digital insurance company that provides customers with online sign-up processes, and an account for all of their plans. We also offer free customer support to both existing and potential customers. Since we already have a product-market-fit and stellar ratings on Trustpilot and Google, the time has come to scale our marketing footprint.

What you bring to the table

  • You have experience in business development, affiliate or partnership marketing, OR a strong background in a similar marketing type role (sponsorships, sales, events).
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and are very comfortable meeting new partners in-person, virtually, and on calls.
  • You have good negotiation skills and have previously closed deals with media agencies, affiliate networks, Sales Houses, etc.
  • Using software-based tools is second nature to you. You are proficient with Slack, Notion, Google Suite, Typeform, and you can easily adapt to using new tech at a moment’s notice.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, can-do attitude.
  • Ahrefs, a CRM, or other partnership marketing software experience is a plus.
  • Fintech experience is also a plus.

You’ll be responsible for

  • You will build the strategy for affiliate marketing so we can keep scaling it in an efficient way.
  • You will take control of our existing affiliate partnership network where you will be the partner touch-point for everything from monthly payouts and billing to introducing partners to new products.
  • You will be constantly interfacing with our current partners via scheduled calls to strengthen relationships and improve partner performance.
  • Using marketing software, like Ahrefs, find new websites, blogs, YouTube channels, and more to discover new potential partners. You will get in touch with them via email or LinkedIn and schedule introductory calls. You will also follow up and acquire them as new partners.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative campaign analyses to inform your decisions and share trends, insights, and growth opportunities with the team and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Build a B2B2C funnel to reach new users through other Businesses that have complementarity with our products.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to optimise sales material, assets, and landing pages.

  2. Take-home task — We’ll give you a task to work on, which will give you an idea of the type of projects you’d take on at Feather (2-3h)
  3. Take-home task discussion — We’ll go through the task to work on together, so we make sure that we understand your reasoning and approach (75min)
  4. Founder interview — You’ll be speaking to one of our founders (either Rob or Vincent) (30m)
