Business Intelligence Lead

The position requires someone with previous experience who is interested in joining a dynamic start up with ownership in a cross functional manner. The job involves working with teams across the organization to provide data and analytics to help Choco grow.🍫

Our Business Intelligence team is one of the key teams that help Choco grow. The team works in a cross functional manner and works with Operations, Marketing, Product, Human Resources and Finance to ensure Choco is able to grow and scale.

The Business Intelligence Lead will lead the day-to-day operations of Choco’s BI infrastructure (Looker), own the full scope of reporting internally to internal and external stakeholders.  You will be responsible for dealing with any ad-hoc requests from business teams, delivering routine reporting dashboards as well as developing new looker models.  Additionally, the individual will lead new data-related initiatives to help support Choco’s broader company objectives while developing and mentoring a small team of Business Intelligence Analyst in the team. 


You are passionate about data and finding solutions to problems to help the business.  You will extract and analyze large amounts of data gathered through time, identify patterns and draw engaging and actionable conclusions. You will work closely with business and development teams to determine business requirements, priorities, define key performance indicators, build relevant dashboards, and develop the company’s BI and data warehouse strategy.

The energy and passion to help mentor and grow.  The capability to lead and mentor young BI professionals to help them function at a high level as well grow and develop in their careers.  This comes through continuous feedback cycles as well as our company wide bi-annual review cycle, trainings and more.

Technical proficiency within the data world.  You will need to be proficient in SQL, have strong experience with BI Tools (Looker, PowerBI), Airflow and Redshift.  Experience with python would be a bonus.
