We’ve already helped thousands of students really speak a language with our tutors, but we want to take the human element of learning even further. At Chatterbug, we’re very proud of the relationship we’ve built with our customers. We believe that great customer support is the key to success and we provide a multitude of channels for our users to share what’s on their mind. Whether they reach out via chat or email, engage with us on the community site, or leave a comment on social media, we make sure that our users feel heard and are encouraged to ask for help whenever they need.

We’re now looking for a like-minded customer success representative to join our customer success team and help us with our English speaking customer support.

Here’s what you will do:

  • You are the first contact person for our English speaking customers and are therefore responsible for a successful customer relationship with our live lesson and app users
  • You are responsible for responding to requests via Intercom (our CRM tool), email and other platforms
  • You will respond to our large community of followers on social media
  • You will reply to App Store reviews
  • You will help us create and update our Chatterbug help sections and similar documents
  • You will identify, prioritise and coordinate our user requests and delegate them to the right people within the team
  • You will collect technical bugs and new feature requests from our customers
  • You will connect and collaborate with different teams (Engineering, Design and Marketing) to help us prioritise new user requests
  • You will help us to create branded gifts for our top users and new subscribers

  • You’re based in Berlin
  • You’re an English native speaker and have advanced German skills (other languages are a big plus!)
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in customer support
  • You are available at least 20 h/week and are flexible in your work schedule
  • You have a flair for written communication
  • You have experience working in other (tech-) start ups and within interdisciplinary teams
  • You’re comfortable working across departments and solving complex issues as a team
  • You can totally relate to the world of language learning enthusiasts. You are looking forward to working within a fun team with people who love learning languages as much as you do
