Operations Manager

Newly created and versatile position in a growing beauty e-commerce startup. You will be part of the management team and responsible for the effective and successful management of warehouse and fulfilment, customer service, production and other business activities. The business is  financially stable and profitable!

We are looking for a bright, analytical, curious and creative personality with the ability to solve problems and the desire to get to know all aspects of the company. Key role in supporting the CEO.

Main tasks:

Manage third-party relationships and performance for warehousing, fulfilment and manufacturing in Europe and the United States, including:

  • Build close relationships with existing providers
  • Management of the budget
  • Coordination of weekly and monthly meetings to review the operational procedures and processes and, if necessary, to improve them.
  • Research and analysis of current and future suppliers with regard to optimal cost efficiency and performance

Supervision and administration of customer service

  • Personnel administration and support
  • Establishment and refinement of the current processes and documentation
  • Ensuring high standards in customer service and awareness of this as well as contributing to the goal of being a customer-oriented company

Management of stocks

  • Monitoring and reporting on stock levels
  • Replenishment and ordering of materials to avoid bottlenecks and surpluses
  • Analysis of suppliers to get the best and most cost-effective offers
  • Management of the budget


  • Assistance with product procurement, including but not limited to product packaging, raw materials, equipment, etc.
  • Europe, China, USA

  • Fluent / native speaker  English & business German. French is a plus!
