Technical Product Manager (m/f/d)

As a Technical Product Manager you will work as part of the product team at Airy and closely with our engineers and business units. If you love finding simple, elegant solutions for complex, technical problems, then this could be the position for you!

What we look for:

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager with demonstrable ownership over a product in a previous role, who is driven by curiosity, and values diversity in perspectives, technologies and architectural styles. Your track record in delivering high-quality solutions is balanced by your enthusiasm to guide and mentor peers. You have a demonstrated ability to steer product & engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to product development. You’re motivated to learn and feel comfortable reading, understanding and discussing technical documentation.

Our perfect candidate also has experience in managing technical integrations with third-party services via APIs, and/or has worked previously in companies that heavily utilize real-time event stream processing frameworks such as Apache Kafka or Apache Flink.

You are able to understand complex technical topics and summarize them in a simple way for others. You have experience in managing KPIs, fostering strong partnerships with teams across the company, and advocating on behalf of customers. You create cohesive and constructive relationships, even when working remotely. You have led complex technology projects, are a quick learner and embrace diversity.

What you will do:

You will work on our scalable open-source conversational platform (https://docs.airy.co) as well as our cloud offering. This means creativity and collaboration as part of a cross-functional team, to craft high-quality and reusable solutions, while writing new feature requirements and documentation in the open.

Your technical background, excellent communication and collaboration skills will help you to structure feature implementation. You will define clear and well-structured requirements, so that tech teams start work. You will have a key role in the development and growth of the company and contribute to the overall company strategy. With a strong focus on optimizing product development, you will establish goals and review metrics to identify progress and opportunities, and prepare and maintain our product roadmap which defines product enhancements for short- and long-term releases.

Strong analytical skills help you to understand the competitive landscape and evaluate market trends, ensuring the right balance between pragmatism and quality in our product development. On behalf of our customers, you will research and identify new opportunities to innovate.

Using your sound business acumen, technical know-how, and proven ability to influence others, you will make strong business judgments as you plan, design, and deliver the best experience for our customers.
