Job Description
We’re in search of an ambitious and impact-driven Account Executive to join our team at Climatiq.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in Climatiq’s growth, managing the entire sales process from finding prospects to closing deals. You’ll drive new business, leading a consultative sales process that speaks to both technical professionals and business executives.
As an Account Executive, you will serve as the point of contact for both customers and prospects, working with ecosystem partners, growing existing accounts, and ensuring customers meet their sustainability objectives with Climatiq. Your passion for technology and sustainability will be crucial, as you’ll be selling a technical sustainability product to a tech-savvy audience.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, negotiate, and close new opportunities, as well as expand existing accounts
- Meet and exceed sales targets by developing an account strategy and pipeline, delivering presentations and demos, creating compelling sales proposals, and negotiating pricing and contracts
- In line with our Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy, research and qualify opportunities to establish relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
- Collaborate with product, marketing, engineering and management to align product development according to customer needs
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of selling complex technical products to tech-savvy buyers, generating pipeline, closing deals and driving revenue growth in an enterprise SaaS startup or scaleup environment
- Familiarity with API-first products or services; ability to understand software architecture
- 4+ years in full-cycle inbound and outbound B2B SaaS sales – a minimum of 2 years in a closing role
- Results driven: A “closer”, with a track record of exceeding quota
- Strong technical/SaaS expertise to effectively sell technology products
- Familiarity with Product-Led Growth sales model is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high level of ambiguity
