Job Description

Ecotrek, an EcoVadis company, is looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team in Berlin. Ecotrek was acquired in July, 2022, to complement EcoVadis’ portfolio of solutions by enhancing technical capabilities, improving customer experience, and expanding visibility with robust information about trading partners.

Ecotrek’s sustainability data mining capabilities make it possible to automate the gathering and integration of sustainability data into business processes. This gives EcoVadis unmatched access to company-specific insights to understand environmental, social and ethical risk and opportunity, providing even faster and more robust risk visibility for organizations across the entire supply chain.

In this new role, you will be reporting to the Sales Development Manager and your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the growth of Ecotrek by playing a central role in building and growing a highly productive sales team
  • Developing and expanding the business in the DACH region through account-based sales development
  • Managing all phases of the sales process through qualification, business analysis, product demonstration, negotiation up to the closing of the contract
  • Being part of our sales team, where you inspire and sustainably win new customers from the DACH region for our innovative business model
  • Making sure that our customers understand the features and benefits of our product
  • Becoming an expert in sustainability and sustainable procurement and inspire customers with Ecotrek’s range of products and solutions

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in sales management
  • B2B sales professional, team player proven in this field in the past (preferably in software companies and/or greentech companies)
  • Consultative sales and customer-need oriented presentation & sales skills
  • Comfortable with ambitious goals and willing to tackle them
  • Experienced in building up scale-oriented Sales Processes
  • Full proficiency in English and German is essential as you will be expected to discuss complex sustainable procurement solutions in both languages
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
