About the Customer Success area:

As our first Senior Solution Engineer, you will join our Customer Success and Solution Engineering team at y42. Your job will be to solve our customer’s hardest problems. As a Solutions Engineer, you will work across the full Customer Journey and support our Customers with integrating y42 into their current Software Stack and implement Business Intelligence solutions end-to-end.

In a typical project, you are setting up data ingestion from a legacy ERP database and are working with the customer’s management team to understand their business needs. Afterward, you’ll be setting up y42 so they have an end-to-end reporting & BI solution.

As our Senior Solutions Engineer, you will:

  • Lead your first project where you setup y42 end-to-end for a new customer;
  • Work with our Sales team to close a customer within a pre-sales project;
  • Work with Customer Success to support new customers when they set up y42 for the first time;
  • Work with the Engineering team on developing new CRM & ERP integrations;
  • Lead your own pre-sales & solution engineering projects;
  • Implement best practices across the team for handling multi-stakeholder projects;
  • Improve our team’s understanding in handling Enterprise Clients;
  • Mentor junior Customer Success Employees.

You will be perfect for this role if you:

  • Love working with customers and are great at understanding businesses and their data needs;
  • Can handle tricky multi-stakeholder projects and make complex topics easy to understand;
  • Are a fast learner and can handle many competing priorities in chaotic situations;
  • Love working with data, even if it is locked away in legacy systems;
  • Have worked 4+ years in customer-facing technical roles in a fast-paced environment;
  • Are an expert with CRM/ERP solutions like Salesforce or SAP;
  • Have experience with deploying new software into large companies;
  • Have a broad understanding on different data ingestion methods;
  • Are comfortable with writing complex SQL queries and at least one scripting language.
