Webgears Group successfully operates international Smart-Shopping Portals that reach more than ten million users each month. Our goal is to give our users access to vouchers and deals to provide them inspiration during their shopping process. This is achieved using an intelligent system to pair an extensive list of e-commerce brands on the sites of popular media companies. In addition to the deal communities mydealz and hotukdeals, digital US media brands such as CNET and The Daily Beast, Glamour and The Sun in the UK or Welt, Bild and Computerbild in Germany rank amongst our partners.

Are you our new Account Management Team Lead, US? We’re on the search for a motivated and relationship-oriented individual to lead our US Account Management Team in generating revenue for the largest brands and advertisers in this market.

  • You consider yourself a skilled negotiator and can clearly communicate a company’s USPs to close a deal
  • You have prior professional experience in an Online- and/or Affiliate Marketing context
  • You are knowledgeable of advertiser/brands’ needs, range of budget spend and ROI expectations
  • You maintain an existing network of key US-focused performance marketing industry contacts
  • You are a team player with prior experience in managing, motivating, and developing others
  • You are a “people person” with great communication skills and comfortable working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • You are data-oriented and analytical in your approach to decision making
  • You are able to prioritize and delegate tasks or projects based on their degree of impact
  • You have a C2 level English

This is what you’ll be doing

  • You will manage, support and develop a team of Account Managers assigned to the US market
  • You will be responsible for the complete monetization of the users/traffic to our US-based websites and platforms
  • You will proactively seek out new growth opportunities related to monetization, while maintaining a comprehensive overview of the US-market landscape
  • You will develop creative sales and brand campaign strategies to achieve market-based internal revenue targets
  • You will attend key industry events and trade fairs to maintain personal interaction with our prominent agency and advertiser contacts
  • You will collaborate with other cross-functional team leads and individuals to drive forward strategic growth-oriented initiatives
