Inspired by a playful trading card game metaphor, Codecks is used by hundreds of game studios around the world.
We’re seeking our first dedicated Business Development Lead! If you’re passionate about forging connections, driving growth, and supporting game creators, we want to talk to you!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead Our Biz Dev Efforts: Own outbound strategies, actively acquiring new customers and forging strategic partnerships within the games industry.
- Build Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with game studios, publishers, and influential industry players, turning conversations into lasting partnerships.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Proactively initiate sales opportunities to boost our customer base and MRR, collaborating closely with marketing and product.
- Represent Codecks: Represent Codecks at industry events, establishing and nurturing relationships across the gaming community.
- Measure Success: Track and report key metrics and KPIs, continuously refining our approach based on actionable insights.
Who You Are
- Biz Dev Experience: 5+ years in business development or sales, with a strong track record of driving growth, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Gaming Industry Savvy: Deep understanding or prior experience in the games industry—you’re comfortable speaking the language of game studios.
- Autonomous Leader: You’re self-driven, resourceful, and eager to take ownership of your area with minimal oversight.
- Relationship Builder: Proven ability to establish trust and rapport quickly, facilitating strategic connections and closing deals effectively.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable setting clear KPIs, tracking your results, and continuously refining your approach based on data.
- Strong English Fluency: We’re an English-speaking team with customers around the world, so fluency is key.

- Competitive Salary: Earn a competitive base salary of €55,000–€65,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses tied directly to achieving growth targets. Bonuses kick in once you surpass our baseline growth goal, with no upper limit—rewarding you generously for exceptional results.
