Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) – Podcast Community Platform

At CampfireFM, we’re on a mission to build a podcast community platform. As huge podcast nerds ourselves, we believe that the communities around podcasts deserve a dedicated home – and we’re here to create it.

For this mission, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Product Designer to shape our platform. As the first full-time designer in our small but very senior team, you’ll own the end-to-end user experience, visual identity, and interface design. You’ll report directly to our Head of Product and collaborate closely with everyone in our small and agile team of less than 20 people.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and shape the UX/UI design for our mobile apps and creator-focused web platform.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to deeply understand our audience.
• Be an advocate for the users’ needs in our company.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and branding elements.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define features and ensure a high-quality implementation.

Your Experience

• You have proven experience (5+ years) designing end-user-focused digital products, of which you spent at least 2 years as a Senior.
• You bring strong expertise in designing for native mobile app experiences.
• You’re a wizard in both quick prototypes and stunning designs.
• You have loads of experience with Figma, including prototyping, design systems, and collaboration workflows.
• You bring a strong track record in user research methodologies.
• You worked in media, particularly podcasting/audio, or with communities before.
• You are an absolute podcast nerd yourself and/or have another big fandom.
• You speak perfect English (must) and German (strongly preferred).
• You live in or close to Berlin and like to spend some time in our beautiful office frequently.
