Senior Frontend Engineer (w/m/d)

GlassFlow is a Python-based data streaming infrastructure challenging legacy technologies like Apache Kafka. GlassFlow offers a serverless and production-ready setup that empowers everyone in your data team to build and transform event-driven data pipelines.

GlassFlow is an early stage VC backed startup from Berlin founded by data experts with decades of experience. GlassFlow is building a category defining infrastructure product from ground up and are supported by world class tech angels like Heikki Nousiainen (CTO Aiven), Thomas Dohmke (CEO GitHub), Sergei Sokolenko (ex Snowflake, Google).

Tasks

As one of the first engineers, you’ll get to lay the tech foundations of GlassFlow. As a frontend engineer, you will design and implement our web applications and collaborate directly with our CTO. You will join a small team solving challenging problems in the field of Data engineering and building a product that will be used by developers across the world.

Requirements

• Fluent in Javascript and frontend frameworks like Next.js and React.
• Experience with Python is a plus
• Experience with public or private clouds (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Experience with DevOps (Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions)
• Worked in fast growing environments or early stage startups
