We are a small team looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer who thrives on technical excellence, takes ownership, and creates innovative solutions. Here, you’ll have a real impact – from architectural decisions to optimizing our platform for scalability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Development & Architecture: Design new features for our Rails 7-based SaaS platform with a modern stack – without legacy.
• AI & Automation: Develop AI-powered features that support companies in legal processing.
• Scaling & performance: Optimize the platform for a growing user base and develop high-performance solutions
• Code quality & best practices: Write clean, maintainable code and drive engineering excellence.
• Tech Ownership: Make architecture and technology decisions that improve our platform sustainably.
• Collaboration & Mentoring: Work closely with other developers to develop innovative solutions and continuously raise the standard within the team. Actively contribute your own experience.

Our Tech Stack

• Backend: Ruby on Rails 7, Sidekiq, MongoDB, Redis
• Frontend: ViewComponent, Stimulus, JavaScript, Hotwire
• DevOps & Cloud: Docker, Hetzner, Kamal
• CI/CD & Testing: GitHub Actions, RSpec

What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience with Ruby on Rails, ideally in a SaaS or B2B environment.
• In-depth knowledge of modern web technologies – you are not just a framework user, but understand the technological background.
• Experience with scalable architectures (e.g. modular monolith, microservices).
• Product mindset: You understand that technology must create added value for users.
• Experience with agile teams & code reviews.
• Must-have: Interest in AI/ML integrations, hands-on experience is a plus.
