About the role
In this new role you’ll spearhead our talent acquisition efforts during a critical growth phase. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for our recruiting strategy and building high-performing teams across the organization. You’ll own the full recruitment life cycle while developing innovative approaches to attract top talent in a competitive market.
As the face of our company to candidates, you’ll communicate our mission effectively and inspire others to join our cause. We’re looking for someone who is excited about what we’re building and can authentically convey that passion. You’ll help shape our culture through the talent you bring on board.
What you’ll do
- Develop effective recruiting strategies that support our ambitious growth targets
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offer negotiation
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for both immediate and future needs
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics
- Create and lead structured interview processes, guiding teams on best practices for fast, fair, and effective candidate assessment
- Develop and implement an employer branding strategy to attract mission-aligned candidates
- Create a candidate journey that authentically showcases our mission and values
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition with a proven track record of building teams in a fast-paced high-tech startup environment, particularly for engineering and commercial roles
- Fluent English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage candidates and represent our company
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with both potential talent and hiring managers
- Experience with ATS systems, and proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other digital sourcing platforms
- Solid knowledge of labor regulations to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a scrappy, hands-on approach to solving challenges in a dynamic startup environment
- Genuine interest in the climate-tech sector, sustainability, and data-driven solutions to fight the climate crisis
- Eligible to work in Germany
