Operations and Support Assistant (Working student, German and English speaking)

YOUR MISSION

We’re looking for a self-motivated and highly driven Operations and Support Assistant. This is a very diverse role. You will be supporting our Product Operations team providing best-in-class support in German to the customers and potential customers of iMusician Digital. In addition, one day per week you’ll be focusing on ensuring an effective and organized operation at iMusician’s Berlin office which is located in Kreuzberg.

This is a part-time, 50 % position for a working student, who is currently enrolled in university and interested in getting insights on the operational side of a music tech company. You will learn a lot about music distribution and the music industry and be able to connect with other like minded individuals.

Responsibilities:

Part 1: German customer support (15 hours per week)

• Handling daily messages in the german mailbox ensuring customer happiness
• Supporting the Product Operations team and the Team Leads when needed

Part 2: Office operations (5 hours / one day per week)

• Ensure the office is well stocked and runs effectively,  manage inventory and be the central point of contact for all suppliers
• Own and drive office projects including renovations, upkeep, and coming up with new and creative ideas for office decorations and improvements
• Fostering and actively shaping a positive and lively company culture by assisting in and organizing company-wide and team-events

YOUR PROFILE

You are:

• currently enrolled in university
• based in Berlin and able to work from the office on one to two days per week
• fluent in English and German (C1)
• proactive and love to make things happen as efficiently as possible
• well organized and detail-oriented, and able to plan and have the ability to juggle different tasks at the same time

You have:

• a passion for problem-solving, and enjoy taking on new and changing challenges
• great skills in G-suite programs (Google sheets, docs, slides)
• excellent administration, communication and organization skills

Experience or interest in the music industry is a big plus :)

Our Berlin office is the hub for our Marketing and Customer Support; working with our Team in Zurich and a bunch of international Freelancers.
