LIQUIDLOOP GmbH has an immediate opening for a Project Manager based in Berlin, Germany. We seek an enthusiastic and conscientious candidate to join our diverse and talented team to push the frontiers of crucial technology in the fight to reduce CO2 emissions.

With Liquidloop, we aim to provide tools that empower researchers and industries to make a real impact on global emissions. We currently focus on devel­op­ing labor­at­ory research instru­ments for elec­tro­chem­istry, a field that will enable energy trans­ition and shift from the use of fossil fuels to green, sus­tain­able fuels and chem­ic­als com­ing from renew­able energy sources.

In this position, you will become part of a vibrant interdisciplinary team developing a novel chemical analysis instrument that are more precise, efficient, and cost-effective than others currently available.

Your responsibilities would include scouting, selecting, and prioritizing public funding opportunities, assist in the preparation and writing of applications for these funding calls, and manage the project over the duration of the project period.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Scout and select public funding and investment opportunities for LIQUIDLOOP – both national and international level.
  • Develop investment strategies and monitor portfolio performance.
  • Lead the process and work with our R&D and business development teams to write project proposals.
  • Manage current and future funded projects.
  • Be responsible for required reporting for publicly-funded projects.
  • Manage billing and timesheets, ensuring conformity to relevant rules and regulations at the local, national and EU level.
  • Interface with Strategic Financial Planning and Reporting.
  • Working closely with the Scientific Manager and Accounting team. Reporting directly to the CEO and CTO.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor/ Master degree related to business, accounting, chemistry, engineering, science, or similar that enables you to lead projects for the development of gas sensor technology.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in funds/ grants and account management and with German and EU funding calls/opportunities.
  • Efficient problem solving skills and quick adaptation to dynamic project conditions.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills to work with different teams within LIQUIDLOOP and with partners.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and German is mandatory.
  • Experience in working with tools such as Odoo, Trello, Asana, etc.
