Backend Developer (m/f/d) with a Focus on PHP

We are a communication and web design agency based in Berlin. As an experienced, owner-managed agency, we serve German and international clients in the gaming, web, and technology sectors.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of our global eCommerce projects
• Integration and customization of WordPress and WooCommerce
• Integration of APIs to connect external services and systems
• Collaborate with the Dev Lead, frontend developers, and designers to implement projects
• Setup and management of repositories, development environments, staging, and production environments
• Contributing to the development of new features and the improvement of existing functions
• Debugging and code optimization for better performance

Your profile

• A degree in computer science, a comparable qualification, or relevant professional experience
• 2-3 years of experience in backend development with a focus on PHP
• Ideally, experience with WordPress and WooCommerce
• Knowledge of MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Team player with an independent and structured working style
• Good English language skills, both written and spoken
• Permanent residence in Germany
• Work visa/residence permit if citizenship outside the EU
