Scéal is a Berlin-based brand agency specialising in tech and venture capital. Our core offering is brand strategy, narrative development, design, and digital implementation, with a special focus on early-stage companies. Additionally we create brand experiences, such as conferences, and produce product and brand films.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a creative and pragmatic Brand Strategist for a maternity cover role from May to October 2025, with potential extension to January 2026. In this role, you’ll partner with early-stage tech founders and investors to craft compelling brand narratives, positioning, and messaging across websites, marketing campaigns, and fundraising materials. Our process is lean and iterative, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Working closely with our Creative Director, Johanna, you’ll help translate brand strategy into design direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute brand strategies for tech and VC clients
• Craft compelling narratives and communication frameworks
• Create wireframes and design layouts using Figma
• Collaborate with design and implementation teams
• Engage directly with clients to understand and meet their brand needs
• Support business development efforts to expand Scéal’s client base

Candidate Profile

• Native English speaker
• Background in brand, communications, or marketing (agency or in-house)
• Strong experience in tech sector preferred
• Proficient in Figma with ability to create basic wireframes
• Sales, business development, or marketing experience a plus
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Creative problem-solver with a pragmatic approach

Details

• Berlin or Remote (within +/- 3hr time zone
• Freelance Fulltime (32 or 40hrs/week) or Freelance on a project basis, depending on the preference of the candidate
