Head of Business Unit (f/m/x) (parental leave cover)

Temporary for 12 months with an option of permanent employment.

As Head of Business Unit (f/m/x), you will be responsible for managing our Banking unit, which is one of three business units at Tomorrow. You will develop and be responsible for the vision and strategy, ensure strategic alignment to company goals and drive the commercial success. In this context, you’ll manage costs, design compelling business cases, and ensure profitability. You will also own and monitor key performance indicators such as contribution margin, churn rate, and NPS,  and will analyze data to identify new business opportunities. In this position, you will work closely with different relevant functions (Product, Tech, Marketing, Data, etc.), the heads of the other business units and the management team, and foster the collaboration of the cross-functional Banking unit.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a successful (cross-functional) unit incl. proper resource planning
  • Developing and executing the unit’s vision and strategic direction
  • Providing direction and inspiration to the Banking unit
  • Boosting profitability by managing costs and revenues effectively
  • Monitoring and owning key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Banking unit
  • Managing OKRs and aligning them with overall company targets
  • Mentoring and developing team members (e.g. PO banking)
  • Designing business cases for each current and future banking product
  • Representing the unit internally and externally

  • You have experience in tech, digital or consulting companies and have already worked in banking or FinTech.
  • You demonstrate strategic and commercial thinking as your default approach.
  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • As well as having excellent project- and business management skills, you are motivated by getting the job done
  • You have very good communication skills and the relevant experience in people management.
  • You prioritize the needs and satisfaction of our customers in business decisions.
  • You are driven by a growth mindset.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You support the idea to create a better future for everyone by using money as a force for good.

Salary

79.000-93.000 EUR annual gross

We expect our future Head of Business Unit (f/m/x) to spend an average of two days a week working on-site in our office.
