Product Engineer
Who we are
Someone dials 112. Before the firefighters even arrive, our drone already delivers first responders an aerial view of the scene. Seconds that save lives.
Fire departments and dispatch centres across Germany (e.g. Munich, Wiesbaden & Bonn) already work with our technology every day: automated drone flights, real-time aerial imagery, on scene before the first units show up. And this is just the beginning.
You want your work to make a real difference? Then you’re in the right place: our software team is looking for reinforcements. Our goal is simple: make hazard response faster and more efficient.
As a Product Engineer with us…
you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with pilots and fire departments to build and maintain the software behind real emergency response. That spans our pilot software, air traffic monitoring system, client applications, live-streaming server, and plenty more. You own features end to end: from talking to the people who use them to running them in production.
Our stack: TypeScript with Next.js and Express, Swift for our native apps, all running on AWS. We’re an AI-first company, and AI tooling is part of how we build every day. Because we’re scaling fast, there is a steady supply of hard engineering problems where architecture decisions have real consequences.
Who we’re looking for
- An engineer (4+ years) who has worked in a startup or fast-moving environment
- High agency: you’re self-driven and figure out what needs doing rather than waiting to be told
- High integrity: you see problems through to a real resolution instead of settling for half-measures
- You ship fast without shipping insecure software, and you know where that line runs
- Strong communicator: much of our team comes from non-engineering backgrounds, and you can explain technical decisions to pilots and firefighters
A plus, not a requirement: experience with real-time systems and telemetry, video streaming, geospatial data and mapping, or robotics and drones.
What we offer
- Meaningful work: your code runs in real emergencies, every day
- A fast environment where we ship features in hours and days, with room to wear many hats and grow with the business
- Direct influence on the product: you shape how our systems evolve
- Modern tech at the intersection of aviation, hazard response, and AI: high-tech drone systems, our own software platform, and infrastructure that grows with us
- Salary band of EUR 80,000 to 100,000, depending on seniority (all genders receive equal pay for equal work)
- Office in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, possible to work from home, flexible working hours
