(German speaking) Business Development Representative (m/w/d)

We are looking for a team member who wants to work on the next generation of financial services and make a dent in how businesses access capital. As part of our sales team, you will be working with talented minds from business and tech, all united in creating user-friendly experiences and developer-friendly APIs for the next generation of financial services to be used by tens of thousands of businesses every day.

As our Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in growing our product and solving a meaningful problem for a large group of businesses. More specifically, you will drive our prospecting efforts, including the identification, qualification and nurturing of leads. This role requires in equal parts analytical, organisational, and communication skills to continuously identify relevant leads and  maintain a large number of concurrent conversations.
Given the early stage of Tilta, you’ll be presented with a green field in many areas and are challenged to assume ownership and responsibility for our prospecting efforts while taking unknown approaches to known problems.

What you will do

  • Prospect and qualify potential leads through targeted research and outreach efforts
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities via phone, email, and social media to generate new business opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the founders to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives and campaigns
  • Engage with decision-makers and key stakeholders to understand their business needs and pain points
  • Educate prospects about our payment solution and demonstrate how it can address their specific challenges and objectives
  • Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team to further the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to inform sales strategies and messaging
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • First experience in B2B sales, preferably in a startup or technology-driven environment
  • Native German and fluent English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
  • First track record of success in outbound sales prospecting and lead generation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and credibility with prospects
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving goals
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo)
  • Knowledge of the payments industry, financial technology (FinTech), or eCommerce is a plus
